The town is hosting a variety of events over three days including the unveiling of a bronze statue in the Kinecroft; along with guided walks and murder-mystery-themed activities.
Throughout the weekend The Potter's Wheel is continuing its gallery presentation of local artisans. There may also be some hint of intrigue in the window display.

Monday 11th & Tuesday 12th: Closed (Re-setting the shop for Life Drawing)
1st – 3rd September, 10am – 5pm
On the banks of the Thames in South Oxfordshire, Wallingford BunkFest is a free-access community festival providing a unique, family-friendly celebration with something for everyone. Live music is dotted around the town in pubs and small venues with the large stage and beer tent on the Kinecroft
Here at The Potter's Wheel we are also going all out. The wheels will be tucked away, bags of clay shifted and the floor scrubbed. The whole workspace is going to be transformed into one large retail area to celebrate and welcome the switch to our new group of talented local artisans and of course to say goodbye and thank you to the current group whose work has so beautifully decorated our walls for the last four months.
We're also looking forward to seeing our new friends the Plantpot Heads arriving in the shop hot out of the kiln!

At certain times during Artweeks, some of the artists will be working in the venue on their current projects, so you may get the chance to watch, ask questions and enquire more about their practice.
