Four-week Beginner Course
Four-week Pottery Wheel Beginner Course at The Potter's Wheel!
This adult-focused four week throwing course is designed for anyone who is either a complete beginner or has already completed a Pottery Wheel Experience session. The course offers an opportunity to practise and further your pottery throwing skills. You'll learn to prepare the clay, create your own hand thrown pieces, trim your pots and attach handles.
Select your best pieces to be bisqued; then return to glaze them ready for firing.

Please note that we do not issue Gift Vouchers for future open bookings for any lessons due to the difficulty in being able to guarantee future place availability. However, gifted lessons may be booked and paid for in advance subject to current availability. Normal Terms and Conditions of Booking apply.
Current course availability.
June: Tuesday evenings, 6pm – 8pm; 3rd, 10th & 17th,
with glazing session on 8th July.
August: Tuesday evenings, 6pm – 8pm; 5th, 12th & 19th,
with glazing session on 9th September.
October: Tuesday evenings, 6pm – 8pm; 7th, 14th & 21st,
with glazing session on 11th November.
Please note that core course dates are non-negotiable. Some flexibility may be available for Glazing sessions.
To request a booking please submit a Booking Request Form (below).
Please note that seats are allocated on a strictly 'first-come, first-served' basis.
Availability of your requested place(s) will usually be confirmed within 48hrs (excluding Sundays & Mondays) by a subsequent invoice request for immediate payment.
Bookings will then be finally confirmed by email upon cleared receipt of payment.
